About Us

MonuMint is more than a service — it’s a movement to preserve memory, dignity, and connection across generations. Founded on the belief that every life deserves to be remembered and every resting place deserves care, MonuMint offers headstone cleaning, restoration, and digital memorial services rooted in both reverence and innovation.  In its first year MonuMint has helped to beautify over 1,200 stones.

At its core, MonuMint is a family endeavor. CEO Michael Bergen brings nonprofit leadership to the project, having previously led a national STEM education nonprofit that impacted millions of children across the country. His father proudly served in both the U.S. Army and Air Force for over 55 years — a legacy of service that now inspires our mission to honor those who came before us.  He is also the personal guardian of his 20 family family plots.

Unlike many unproven companies, MonuMint operates under the umbrella of a 30-year-old national nonprofit, ensuring our clients receive trustworthy, mission-driven service with long-term commitment. We understand that grief and remembrance are deeply personal, and our team takes the time to handle each project with the care it deserves.  MonuMint is here for the long term.

Our services include professional headstone cleaning, landscaping, floral arrangements, porcelain cameo portraits, and GPS-based Legacy Locator tools. We also offer cutting-edge QR Code Memory Plaques — scan able links mounted to headstones or urns that lead to beautifully curated digital memorial pages. These are built for generations to come, preserving stories, faces, and legacies in a way that physical markers alone cannot.

MonuMint also offers an “Adopt-a-Stone” program that allows the community to sponsor restorations for abandoned or forgotten graves. These restorations are especially impactful in honoring veterans, preserving local history, and reviving neglected cemeteries.

But we’re not just here to restore stone — we’re here to restore connection. Cemeteries are sacred spaces, not just for mourning, but for storytelling, beauty, and reflection. We believe a clean, maintained headstone surrounded by blooming flowers and family memories says: “You are not forgotten.”
